A small but strong field highlighted the first 2006 tournament outside of the state of Michigan, In addition to 3 of the top 10 players in the world, a few of Logansport’s finest – including a cop, a fireman, a postman and a newly minted nurse – participated in the Riverside Classic.
Carl Swan made a case for smack champ (K Gunns has some competition), but in the end the top Monkeyballers in the world rose to the top in this tournament. Joe Frushour (05 Worlds quarterfinalist) defeated Chuck Trinoskey (05 Worlds runner-up) in the loser bracket final before falling to Andy Frushour (World top 10) in the championship match.
