The Open at Woodside Meadows was conceived, organized and completed within a 19 hour time frame... not too bad considering 11 of those 19 hours were spent sleeping.
Eight people participated, but only one could win it all. Veteran Casey Frushour was the obvious favorite and he delivered despite coming out of the losers bracket and being attacked by a crazy dog during the finals. I swear the owner of that dog gave it a treat as they walked away.
Jason Tooker kicked off his Monkeyball career with an impressive 2nd
place finish. Other notables were... well, no one else really -- but
4 of the players did invent a new lazy-man
version of Monkeyball.
