The Old Orchard is located at 3426 N Michigan Rd in Dimondale. It
is 4 miles south of I-96 (exit 101 - MLK/M-99). Look for the large
Monkeyball ladder and other signage on the east side of Michigan Rd (M-99). If
you go past the entrance, there are a number of turnarounds in the median. |
| Fees: |
Registration - $10 (includes beer and water).
You can also order the official tournament t-shirt for $10. All orders must
be placed by July 1. (Extra shirts may be available on the day of the tournament
for $15.)

| Schedule: |
Other than check in/meeting times, all times
are approximate:
8:30-9:30 - Registration
8:30 - Courts open for warmup/practice
9:45 - Players Meeting (all players must attend)
10:00 - Morning Qualifying Begins (for all players)
12:30
- Championship Session (for top 28 qualifiers)
3:00 - Championship Match

| Format: |
Players will be divided into four groups for
double-elimination morning qualifying. Each match is one game, and the
last seven players remaining in each group advance to the afternoon's single-elimination
Championshp session. All matches in the afternoon are best two-out-of-three.
The top 32 players according to the World Rankings will be seeded in
the morning session.

| Sanction/Rules: |
This is a sanctioned tournament. All
players will receive World Rankings points.
The Official
Rules of Monkeyball will govern play (for a quick tutorial, read the
basic rules).

| Lunch: |
New this year, about 40
pizzas will be delivered at noon. If you want pizza , you can just throw a couple bucks in the hat
and have at it. This is a great option if you don't want to pack a lunch
that morning, and it also allows you to stay at the Old Orchard all day.
